Black Friday & Casting a Vote With Your Money

Your mailbox is must be full of emails with endless discounts and offers, one better than the other, and some are really tempting.⠀
⠀
If you had a list of stuff you need, great. But losing control and getting headaches due to this can have a consequence. Apart from unconsciously spending your money, we are also casting a vote towards our future. ⠀
⠀
Do you choose to buy from a brand with a very little to zero ethical values? ⠀
A product, production of which keeps growing someone’s pocket, but takes all the advantages of the resources, producers, employees, communities and the planet, without giving anything back? Some of these companies are even able to avoid paying proper taxes. ⠀
⠀
Or do you choose to support your local producers and artisans? Businesses who are passionately creating their products, considering not only the business needs but strongly driven by their values and responsibilities that benefit all of us, including the environment. ⠀
⠀
Some brands, like ourselves, find themselves in a massive dilemma over this sales period. We feel the pressure, as we want to treat our customers and do not want to lose the opportunity. However, in our heart, we feel that we don’t want to be a part of this madness of impulsive buying. We cannot offer huge discounts on already low margin products. Because the products we make value, much more than anything which is mass-produced. ⠀
⠀
We do care for our consumer. You guys are everything to us. We value your loyalty, and time to time, we offer you amazing offers and gifts. If you want to be a part of Lena Wild community, please subscribeto our newsletter.

But we offer no sale today, and instead, I will leave us all with this powerful quote by Anna Lappe – “Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want.” 💚
